Right to Information Act 2005

 

The Right to Information Act 2005 has been implemented in Rabindra Bharati University

 

Objectives:
                   Rabindra Bharati University is a State University established by an Act of State Legislative Assembly in the year 1962 for imparting higher education in Humanities, Fine Arts and Visual Arts.

Jurisdiction:
                   The jurisdiction of the university spreads over West Bengal. Students of any state of India and Abroad can take admission for their higher education in this university.

Establishment:
                   The University has twenty three departments and six centres. The University is offering eighteen Ph.D. programmes, four M.Phil., twenty one PG, twenty four UG courses . Working hours of the university : 10.15 a.m. to 5.45 p.m from Monday to Friday except on national and other notified holidays.
