B.A
(Hons.) examinations are held in three parts. B.A. Part–I consisting of four
compulsory subjects only is held at the completion of the first year. Part–II
consisting of three Honours papers and three Elective papers is held at the completion of
the second year. Part III is held at the completion of the third and final year on the
remaining five Honours papers. Examinations usually take place during the summer vacation.
B.A. (Special Hons.)
Special Honours examinations are held
in two parts. First part consisting of three Honours papers is held at the end of the
second year class of the B.A. Course and the Second part consisting of five honours papers
is held at the completion of the third year Class of the B.A. course. Be it noted that the
special Honours students join the B.A. Course at the beginning of the second year class.
