The Department of musicology seeks to focus special attention to the study of music. This course gives a special stress on the study of Indian music, comparative study of world music, in the field of research work, specially in the historical and theoretical Investigation-cum-Analysis of specific type of music.

At present the Department offers this course only in the post graduate level.
